WELCOME TO THE ISLAND
The Island is a multi-fandom RPG set on an island very similar to the one featured on the television show "Lost". Characters who arrive on the island will find themselves awaking in a small island town with no recollection of how they got there. The town has several small huts where the characters wake up, (1BR/1BA with a small bathroom and kitchenette) arranged in a spiral similar to that of a nautilus - indeed, signs around the town will welcome visitors to "Nautilina", named after the mollusk the town is shaped after.
Beyond Nautilina is a vast, uninhabited tropical island that has lush rainforests, tall mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and beautiful white sand beaches. Hidden in the wilderness are stations left by whoever (or whatever) is responsible for bringing people to the Island. For every fandom that is represented on the island, their own station is hidden somewhere on the island, filled with things from their past lives that they might miss (or be trying to avoid).
So why should you join The Island?
We're determined to keep caps on fandoms and characters within fandoms in order to make sure that no one fandom totally outnumbers and overshadows another. We boast activities such as writing prompts and random character match-ups, along with various memes to help foster creativity and give players a chance to get to know each other and the characters they play. We also have cool plot points like discoverable stations with nifty surprises inside, deadly smoke monsters, and curiously out-of-place polar bears to keep all our visitors on their toes!
